Open Source

Building toolsfor developers.

I build and maintain open-source tools for Nuxt, Vue, developer experience, UI infrastructure, and application development. Most of them start as something I needed for my own work, then get released so other developers can use them, extend them, and improve them.

Flagship

Open source

The UI Thing website: a hero reading “Beautiful Nuxt Components” above a grid of form and interface components.

Component library

UI Thing

A Nuxt-focused component and interface ecosystem built to make application development faster without giving up ownership of the source. Components are built with Reka UI and Tailwind CSS, inspired by shadcn/ui and shadcn-vue, and live in your project where you can read, edit, and extend them.

  • Reka UI
  • Tailwind CSS
  • Motion

UI Thing has grown past a single repository. It now has related tooling of its own: a CLI, a documentation toolkit, editor support, and starter templates.

Ecosystem

UI Thing

The UI Thing ecosystem.

UI Thing started as a component library. The tools around it, for installing components, writing documentation, working in the editor, and starting new projects, grew out of using it.
